DAM2000 Documentation
Welcome to DAM2000! This documentation will help you get started with our platform and guide you through the basic steps to manage your dam infrastructure effectively.
Quick Start Guide
Follow these basic steps to start using DAM2000:
- Create an account or sign in to your existing account
- Create or join an organization
- Add your first dam to the system
- Configure basic dam information and properties
- Start adding failure mechanisms, loading conditions, and features
Account Creation
To create a new account, click on the "Sign in" button in the top right corner of the navigation bar. You'll be guided through the registration process.
Profile Settings
After signing in, you can access your profile settings by clicking on your profile picture in the top right corner and selecting "Your Profile" from the dropdown menu.

After signing in, navigate to the Dashboard and select "Organization" from the dropdown menu. Click on "Create New Organization" button to set up your team.
Inviting Team Members
From the Organization dashboard, you can invite team members by email. They'll receive an invitation to join your organization.
Go to Organization SettingsCreating a Dam
From the Dashboard, select "Dams" from the dropdown menu. Click the "Add New Dam" button to create a new dam record. Fill in the required information in the form.
Dam Details
After creating a dam, you can edit its details by clicking on it and then selecting the "Edit Dam Details" button. Add information such as location, dimensions, type, and any relevant project details.

From a dam's detail page, scroll to the Failure Mechanisms section and click "Add Failure Mechanism". Provide a title and description for each potential failure mode.
Adding Loading Conditions
Similarly, you can add loading conditions from the dam detail page. Click "Add Loading Condition" in the appropriate section and provide the necessary details.
Adding Features
Add dam features from the Features section of the dam detail page. This helps catalog the physical components of your dam.
